Argos Fridge Freezer Nightmare!! Help!!!

I'm not gonna give the full lowdown on what happened because I'm exhausted talking about it, but Argos are no help what so ever and I thought somebody here might help me.
Basically I ordered a fridge freezer from Argos in June and was given an estimated delivery time of 5 weeks.
5 weeks later it didn't arrive and we were told it would be a further 3 weeks. The date has since been pushed back twice.
I contact Argos over a fortnight ago to make a complaint. The manager told me he would cancel the order as he had found a product with identical specification which could be delivered a lot sooner. The new fridge freezer arrived today and it was over 10cm too big and would not fit into the kitchen unit.
I rang back to express my anger and they apologised and told me that they had nothing else in their new catalogue which matched the specification of the old fridge. All the fridges they have now are too big. I demanded to speak to a manager. He told me there is categorically nothing they can do to resolve the complaint.
I am FUMING and I need to know how to resolve this. For 4 months, I have been without a fridge. I have spent endless hours on the phone trying to resolve this, running up large phone bills. I have had to do a daily shop, whereas I normally do 1 small weekly shop and a bigger fortnightly shop.
I don't want to cancel the order and go elsewhere and for this past 4 months to be in vein. I don't want Argos to get away with this. Help!!

You have no choice but to cancel the order if they do not have a suitable fridge. However a few gift vouchers to make up for the inconvenience would be nice! Many thanks to everyone who posts competitions and works so hard to provide all the answers!

What do you want them to do?
If they haven't got the original fridge in stock, then they physically cannot get it to you!
And if every fridge they now have in stock is too big, you can either accept one of those, or get your money back.
Reject the fridge they delivered (if you haven't already) and get a refund. Argos cannot magically source an item that they don't have.
Take your money, and go elsewhere, otherwise you'll be back here in two months complaining that you've wasted 6 months of your life. Just quit now, arguing and complaining to Argos won't get you anywhere if they don't have the product.0
