I just thought I'd share an amusing tech piece I read recently (it was written by a mate, but it is very good). http://www.pluggedin.co.uk/article/10-quotes-tech-people-got-wrong
My two favourites are:
'Nuclear-powered vacuum cleaners will probably be a reality in 10 years.’ - a tech quote from 1955!
'There is practically no chance communications satellites will be used to provide better telephone, telegraph, television or radio service inside the United States.’ - This was said by Tunis Craven, the US’ FCC (Federal Communications Commission) boss in 1961.
