How long would you expect it to take for a bank to transfer an ISA or a current account from another bank, does 5 weeks sound too long?

Halifax are integrating into the Lloyds system and are misplacing things at the moment. Took me four weeks and three phone calls to transfer an ISA with them to a fixed rate!

I thought the industry standard was "10 days typical, but should be reasonably better than 30 days".

So yes, 5 weeks sounds like a long time.

Hopefully your cash isn't in limbo.

Took me nearly 3 months to transfer money from Santander to Nationwide! Unbelievable
