£100 is around my ball-park mark also, thought I've seen whats on offer and not really that inspired.

    Sony Ericsson Mini (xperia?)
SanFrancisco (Orange handset, needs a bit of technical work but there are entire web forums on how to do it and how to make it a better handset).
Samsung Wave 2 (available from the CPW unlocked and on special offer)
HTC Wildfire (and possibly Wildfire S) though slightly closer to the £150 mark.
No doubt there are many others, these are just what I've noticed.

I'm a bit of an inpatient easily bored and frugal shopper, none of these look 'wow' enough for me and £100 does not come easy to me, I've been waiting for months for something to interest me enough and the longer I wait the more expectations I seem to have! I'm holding out for something better myself but it really depends on what your own needs are not mine.

Xperia X8 (not mini) can be bought for less than £100 too.
