I think you go to the post office ans ask them nicley to get you the right form
It wont get you a free one just for the sake of it, you need to have the old paper version (im sure you need to take photo id)0 -
I got mine free because I changed address, maybe theres an amendment to your old licence you could make? good luck xThis above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man. (SHAKESPEARE, Hamlet, 1600) :kisses2:

there is no charge to update a paper licence to a photo licence provided you still have the paper one same as a change to your name or address etc0 -

If this is the case what do I have to do to take advantage of it?
Does anyone know what the form number is?
Thanks

you don't need a form its on the bottom of our exsisting licence0

You do need a form to fill as you have to send a picture which need to be signed.
Just goto to post office and pick the form, fill in all details, should be free as long as you surrender your old paper liscence (send it back to them)Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
It is form D1, you can get them at the post office or the DVLA will send you one if you ask at their website0

Found this infor
DVLA
It is illegal to have a driving licence with an incorrect address.
DVLA no longer issues paper driving licences- you can now apply for a photocard driving licence. The instructions on your paper licence on how to change your address no longer apply.
If you hold a paper driving licence and you need to notify a change of address you must now complete a D750 (think its D1 for paper licence) application form (available from most Post Offices) to notify the change. The DVLA will also need to amend your car registration document.
