No overdraft reclaim charges query

Options
Hi

I opened an account in July/August 2005 without overdraft facility. On 16th Jan I went over account limit. On 17th January I was charged £25.00 Paid referral fee and again on 18th Jan was charged £25.00 paid referral fee. On 18th Jan a deposit was made (obviously I had not allowed enough clearance).Question is Can I claim that money back under the bank charges system or is it only if you have overdraft facility.
Statenment says that they will not chrge more than one Paid referral feea day and that first Fee would be refunded if I had had my account for 12 months.
Help appreciated

Liz

You can claim back both these fees. Try a phone call to the bank first, and if this doesn't work use the steps set out in Martins article.
