Saffron BS increase E-Saver rate to 5.60%

According to Moneyfacts, Saffron building society's e-saver rate will be increased from 5.40% to 5.60% for balances of £1,000+, w.e.f. 1st February 2007.

Balances under £1,000 will see an interest rate rise from 5.00% to 5.20%.

    Good account, plus the added bonus is one you might get a nice windfall if they go plc or get taken over. You will get nothing from Icesave or ICICI.
