My son was looking at auctions for bike bits and came across this seller:

No one can have this sort of gear available for 1 day sales, can they?
Do eBay do anything about auctions like these?

It's very strange, isn't? Many items at £10,000 which clearly aren't worth that. I wondered if the 1-day sale was a way to keep the bidders secret. But why? The only thing I can think is that it is some kind of (not very sophisticated) money laundering scheme.0

Could be a highjacked account, as for money laundering, doubtful as this will leave some form of electronic trail.
As to high prices, strange.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
I would guess that the seller has upset a buyer who is in turn wrecking the sellers auctions. There are 2 people bidding on the £10,000+ items, one bidding £9999, other bidding £10,000 etc so seller gets high final value fees and doesn't sell the items.0
