Hi, I issued a claim via this service against a landlord who failed to return my security deposit.
The day after the claim was issued he refunded the deposit. However, I had to pay a court fee to start the claim and he has not paid me this back.
Do I just leave the claim open? Any advice would be appreciated as I am very confused by the process!
Thanks!!

failed to return as in they wasn't going to return the deposit at all, Or you didn't give them enough time to process the deposit return?0

As you received most of it and are still out of pocket, continue with the claim, and inform him that you are awaiting the court costs. If however a check was given to you and not cash, then this will make it harder for you, as it may appear to be a full and final settlement and you accepted and cashed it.0

Did you send a Letter Before Action before starting the MCOL process?0
