The last time I had a dog neutered was 11 yrs ago so no doubt the cost will be much more expensive now, the vet also kept him in overnight which obviously increased the costs, do they still do this?

It would depemd almost entirely on the time of day the animal was operated on- they just need to make sure that the animal is fully recovered from anaesthetic before they go home.
DONT BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE. GET YOUR ANIMALS NEUTERED TO SAVE LIVES.

why only in Wales ? are the dogs eating the sheep or something ?

It was organised by Bridgend DT who have an active campaigns team. Might be happening in other areas where there is a Dogs Trust Centre.

Would be nice if it was offered to all dog owners not just benefits recievers as its so expensive and it only really costs about £35 to do but we got charged £120 for our smallish female...grrrr.

And they wonder why dogs homes are full, if vets didn't rip us off more people could afford to keep their dogs...sorry rant over ;)

Also whilst whinging i'm bumping :D

Really agree with you! I'm not on benefits but it doesn't mean i'm rolling in money either! lol.

We've got a large Goldendoodle and the most expensive price we've been stated is £200!

She's my gorgeous girl but my wages won't stretch that far!

It really riles me with offers like this!
