Ebay Spoof listing advice required

As it is a 10p listing day on Thursday, I want to list a spoof for a bit of fun.

Something along the lines of:

“English Premiership title for sale. £300 million or £250million each for two.

Will ebay let it run or will they delete it?

If I use my own user id, do I risk bad feedback or having my account suspended? Should I create a new id for this?

I only want to have a bit of fun.:D

Spoofs may seem amusing to your friends and family but they very often backfire. Yes it will probably get removed but more worryingly what happens when someone BINs your item and leaves you with many thousands of pounds of FVfs? Of course you'll get them back, but you'll probably find there will be a delay which means you'l have t o pay them first and then get a credit back to your account once you go through the NPB process or as soon as you or your bidder gets struck off ebay.

Leave the funnies to the children, it really isn't worth it.

If you wana have fun actually do something you can sell

A pice of gum chewed by madonna/david beckham

None of those items are ever true but they sell well.

How about Nintendo Wii box- you'll get about 150pounds coz some people reckon their getting the console
  • IF your spoof is a good humoured one that generates ebay a lot of publicity then they will let it run almost to the end to maximize their coverage of it before pulling it at the last minute.

I had one just like that but unfortunately they had stuck the label on upside down so by the time I noticed it was too late.
