There are 10 types of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those that don't.0

I was looking for contents insurance yesterday and was on the Barclays website - I noticed they had a separate section for students/landlord insurance. Didn't look because it wasn't for me, but may be useful??
(and Quidco offer a potential £125 cashback for Barclays at the moment too)0 -
Yeh I phoned up Barclays but they don't cover students. Thanks for the note.
Alo just tried the above link - a bit pricey. I'll keep looking...Thanks for the link though0 -
Endsleigh may do it, they certainly used to 2 years ago.0

You will really need to see an insurance broker for this and get a commercial property owners policy.
Many firms are reluctant to touch properties let to DSS / students. I know we have a few on the books but that is only because they are part of a much larger property portfolio. Since our minimum premium is £5k I won't bother to name my employer.0 -
Vasek insure properties that are rented to students. Their website is https://www.vasek.co.uk - not sure if they are broker exclusive though
As previously stated, most insurers will not touch student lets and premiums are not cheap!!!0 -
Vasek insure student let properties, their website is https://www.vasek.co.uk but not sure if they are broker exclusive.
As previously stated, most insurers won't even look at student let properties and unfortunately premiums are unlikely to be cheap0 -
I managed to get a really good quote from Endsleigh....Even when you go to confused it comes up with Endsleigh, Norwich union and Budget......but Budget don't cover students...couldn''t get endsleigh to work at home last night but got a quote when i tried at work today and its pretty goood...
