I'm a first time poster on the forum.
My husband paid the free trial price (£7.95p&p) for one of these, got all excited cos he was finally going to quit (we have a baby on the way and I went cold turkey thirteen weeks ago. He didn't realise it was fifteen days and asked if I could try ordering one cos his didn't turn up. But after using my card to order one, I saw the bottom of the screen, very well hidden I must say and am now panicking. I have sent emails from his account (it's been fifteen days
) and mine to cancel both. He doesn't have enough money in his account to cover this and will be charged thirty quid if he goes over his overdraft limit. I know I can cancel mine as it won't have even been 24 hours since the order was placed but we are supposed to be moving in the next two weeks, needing £1100 to do that, so understandably, we cannot afford another ninety pounds on top of that. I'm exceptionally angry with him for not reading the small print, or telling me about the website for days, and I'm not too pleased with myself for letting him talk me into putting my own finances at risk.
If anyone has any advice, I don't know what else to do and the stress is making me pull my hair out!!

Erm order what on free trial? Electronic cigarette?
What does their cancellation procedure state? When must you cancel by and how?
If you've emailed and thats all it says to do, you should be fine however i do realise some companies ignore these. Make sure you've done what they ask, keep a screenshot of cancellation conditions and also keep copies of the cancellation you sent them.
If they do make any charges, inform your bank straight away and use these as proof. Alternatively, call your bank now and explain the situation. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

I think this thread has been split off from another thread created in January this year. (I saw this earlier this morning but the original thread has now disappeared from the front page).0

Not got a clue, what the OP is about, but if I have the jist of it, your Hubby ordered something of then net, it's not turned up, so he got you to order one as well.
You have cancelled within 24 hours, so you will be covered by the DSR.
However, if your Hubby still has not received his item, he should also be covered by the DSR, so should be able to get a full refund. He has 7 days from day of receipt to inform the company that he is returning the goods.0 -
