Perhaps they would not have been 'nasty' to you if you'd paid your bills on time. Can you not see the irony in you wanting 'payback', when that was all they wanted in the first place?

Hi, I successfully claimed mine back earlier this year. i used the templates on the MSE reclaim section. I had to send £10 in to get a copy of all my statements over the last 6 years (this may be available online, I'm not sure). I listed all the charges on the calculator (again on MSE) and it applied the interest.
I sent it all of to Barclaycard, heard nothing for 4 weeks, called them, still nothing. I checked my Barclaycard statement a couple of days later and they have applied a credit for all the charges + interest (from memory I think it was about £900). They did not threaten to close the amount. Infact they have since increased my credit limit!!
