please can i join, am just starting to try and sort stuff out and feel like i wanna crawl under the duvet

Don't crawl under the duvet! May be nice and warm under there but you'll get far more warmth from joining in the self help group that is the moneysavingexpert.com community. It will get better. Hang on in there and remember a smile costs nothing.
Cheap and cheerful. Preferably free. :T LBM - more a gradual rude awakening.
DFD where the light is at the end of this very long tunnel - there, see it? Its getting brighter!! :o

Thanks Southernscouser for letting me be No 302 but I have to leave the forum  cos after taking all the advice and help offered on the boards I've managed to clear my last debt! Now don't owe anything to anyone - financially, that is. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to every MSE'er who has been so supportive, so just want to say a huge and heartfelt thank you, although that doesn't touch what I want to say, to you all.

    Well done sparrer! :T

I won't reallocate your number because once a DFW Nerd, always a DFW nerd. :D

Good luck for the future and enjoy your retirement. :)

    Hi Starlett,

Don't become too panic stricken at it all as you're not alone and we've all felt like you at some point, but worrying won't get any of us anywhere! Just concentrate on saving every penny and getting back to where you want to be. (See below for more)

    All the best, Sue

Hi Suzi, of course it doesn't matter, in fact it's all the better as we all become so money saving conscious (obsessed:rolleyes:) which can only be a GREAT thing to get us closer to DFD! One thing for sure, you're not alone there in having a good while to wait, but we'll get there!;)

How about going to this "sealed pot challenge" http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=605703&goto=newpost thread girls, it's all about saving any loose change for Christmas, or any time you wish, we also have some fun along the way. Just ask to join and Mollymop5 will give you numbers. Good luck with reducing those debts!

    All the best, Sue
