I would benefit from joining too, please.

Only just had my lightbulb yesterday, just before a nightshift. Too tired to work out the totals at the moment, but the plans are already being formulated!

Ok Ok I best admit that this site & the people on it have convinced me that I need to get my act together & reduce my debts, have already decided that the money I get (when I get it) from my claims will go to paying off some of those *bleep* *bleep* store/credit cards then its on to the loan!!

Is SS can get from £30k+ in 2 years to £17k then I should be able to follow suit, ok I owe somewhat less :D

    Sign me up SS!

Have to also ask, if your a Southern Scouser... which footy team do you follow, if any??

  • Hi! Am currently reclaiming my charges and saw this forum and hopefully can get some support! I'm 23 and have managed to get myself in a right state! My debt reached its peak on 20 April 2007 at £29,747.49 - I promised myself I couldn't let it go over £30,000 and so have been trying so hard to reduce it bit by bit!. Every month I budget and every month "something" crops up - new tyres, unexpected bill etc etc! I am finding it a struggle (mostly to do with my attitude - all my friends live at home, have no loans, cards to pay off so are out each weekend having a great time - its hard sometimes!) But on the 20th of each month I check over how much further down my debt is coming and so far its going ok! I know I can improve and really start to pay these off…….to date (since 20 April), I've paid off £2511.06 all by myself - which I'm pretty proud of! I'm still at the stage of juggling one debt to another some months, but its definitely getting better since I cut up all my cards and banned myself from ordering anything else from catalogues! How much stuff can one girl need!
