Can I be a DFW too.
Just been discharged from a Trust Deed so I can start to rebuild. Got quite a bit of debt together with my wife and the plan is to get rid of it all by April next year. Then the long slog to save for a deposit for a house.
Fingers and toes crossed.
Wish me luck.0 -

As a new DFW wanted to say thank you to all my forerunners for giving me the inspiration to finally face the real truth of the mountain I see before me !!
Whether the posts are factual or just humourous, above all, they certainly keep me on track.
Since finding this website, my whole life seems to be turning round. Instead of hating the postman, I now look forward to seeing how much better the balance on my credit card bill is looking, and get particular pleasure at seeing how much less interest I'm paying them too !!! God that sounds sad !!
HSBc are taking us the long way round to our charges reclaim via the court, but what the heck, by the time they pay out, we'll actually feel like we can enjoy the victory rather than just see the money whisked away by more debt.
Here's wishing you all success with your personal aims., and thanks again for the advice ! ( I can feel an honorary award for Martin coming on in the future. Just shows what a difference one person really can make !:T
