Me and OH had our lightbult moment on 12 April and I've been lurking around the DFW forum ever since (it's almost becoming an obsession - lol). After reading a lot of posts here, I'm starting to feel that is a light at the end of the tunnel and our debts are a problem we can overcome, with hard work and dedication...

This is a great forum and I've learnt so many things :T We've already started cutting back on unnecessary things, and budgeting properly, and we're starting to feel a lot more positive about clearing our debts. I don't feel quite so alone anymore...

Just signed up to this great forum today after stumbling across it while researching reclaiming bank charges (I reckon Barclays owe me around £1k, sent the DPA SAR off last week).

After reading around the DFW board, this looks like it'd be just the inspiration and kick up the bum I need to get my finances well and truly sorted, so can I join the club and be a nerd please?

Hi there, I'd love to join you all if possible please. I have loads of debts to all different people and it is very scary thinking about working out exactly how much I owe but hopefully being here will give me ways to pay and the incentive to work out exactly what I owe. I see alot of people are saving £2 is this a club or just something you write on the bottom of messages as I would like to start this too.
