    Had my lightbulb moment about a week ago and havent looked back.

    Facing up to my debts has given me a sense of power and control, and I used to hate seeing my money leave my bank account every week, flying through the banking airwaves and into someone elses account, but now, I genuinely do love it!

    Thanks MSE, without this place, i'd just be another WON'T PAY debter.

    Just realised that I have been subscribed to this thread for over a year, but haven't actually posted yet or asked to join the nerd list - d'oh!

    After my 'official' Light Bulb Moment in September I have been following everyone's great progress across the different threads. I also have had a diary at Russell's New Leaf Diary since September - it's not much, but I'm enjoying it and it's keeping me motivated!

    Could I join too please? I have just over £11k of debt and would LOVE to be debt free by the end of 2010. Its a challenge but it would be fantastic if I acheived it!
