Finding the best electricity rate?

Hi all, signing the papers on our first house tomorrow!

Trying to do a bit of research to what electric plan to go on? We have economy 7's and understand that on an an economy 7's plan you get cheap electricity at night and really expensive electricity in the day so without living there what will be best? Im not looking for ways to reduce the energy at this point just on what plan :)

This is what we will have on (roughly)

All the time
Router
Large Fridge/Freezer
Undercounter Freezer

Night (midnight till 7)

4 x economy 7s
washing machine once a week
2 x phone chargers

Day

PC 6 hours
TV 6 hours
Sky Box 6 Hours
Amped Surround Sound 6 hours
Xbox 2 hours
Electric cooker 40mins
Lights 6 hours (energy savers)
Shower 1 hour
Kettle 10 mins

Over the week

Iron 30mins
Washing Machine 2 hours
Microwave 5mins

What do you think..? Will the economy 7's use more energy than the day use of all of them?

You've failed to mention the biggest two uses of electricity, which are space heating and hot water. How are these provided in your property? If you have storage heaters and an immersion heater wired to E7, then E7 makes sense. If not, it doesn't, as all your heating and hot water will be charged at a premium rate. Generally you need to be using at least 33% of the total units on E7 to make it work.
When you move in you are in a deemed contract with the existing supplier, you have to register with them before you can switch. Use a comp site with estimated kWh figures to find the cheapest supplier.

you can easily work it out, each appliance has a power rating on the label, get a calculator.

So almost certainly E7 will be the best tariff.
