I like rice milk. Particularly for porridge as it makes it lighter than with cows milk. I've never liked soya milk.
Like JoJo I'm an omnivore who eats a lot of vegan food.
... And I think you might have listed the contents of my cupboards...0 -
This thread is giving me lots of ideas thanks particularly to Icontinuetodream that recipe sounds doable and lovely.0

You could use Alpro soya milk then.0 -
I am Omni, but also identify as a animal product reducer so tend to eat vegan most of the time.
I have always hated cows milk, and have a soy milk machine. I think that the main problem with soy is that the vast majority is grown for animal feed, not for human consumption, so I tell myself that (paradoxically) by consuming soy I am actually reducing demand. And by making my own milk I am not buying packaged stuff too.
I also have about 15 types of dried beans and lentils, loads of flours for breadmaking and more spices han I know what to do with.Eating Out of the Storecupboards Challenge.

Drink it black! The one thing I've never been able to find is a cow's milk alternative that I actually like (and I've tried the lot!) - black coffee & tea with lemon is much more preferable
I'm another that was vegan for a couple of years, now back to veggie but still eat vegan much of the time.
icontinuetodream, how about carob chips? Great for for sprinking over fruit, baking, muesli bars etc0 -

Yes, I was going to mention that. Even most soya which is consumed by humans goes into ready meals etc, most of which are produced for the meat-eating market.0 -
