Why not highlight a paragraph at a time.............and select a new font for each separate paragraph.
Then, when you print the page..........you can see which paragraph you prefer and go back to change all the text on the page to that font/size.;)
If you have these options, try a paragraph with Garamond, another with Times New Roman, and Helvitica and Arial.............all at size 12.;)

It's worth getting to know a few keyboard shortcuts for situations such as this. Selecting all text can be done with CTRL-A, Italicising the selected text with CTRL-I, embolding with CTRL-B etc. There's a fairly complete list here, though you'll get used to the ones that you habitually use, and remember them.
This will of course reduce all the text to one size and style, so any headings in bold, underlines etc will be lost if you select all. Customising paragraphs or sections of text can be done by highlighting the desired pieces using the mouse (left-click and sweep), then applying the desired effect from the toolbar, menu, or keyboard shortcuts. For long areas of highlighting text it may be easier to control highlighting using the shift key + keyboard direction arrows rather than the mouse.
There's also a little known button called format painter in MSWord (not sure about works). You place the cursor in a section of text that you want to copy, click the button that looks like a wallpaper brush, then swipe the cursor over an area of text that you want to look like the original.0
