  • hi

went into the southampton boots today for a change, got my 6 suncare items, a no7 lipstick bag in my basket and queued up

then the sa said i could either have the suncare items as bogof or 342, and that i couldnt use the voucher on the lipstick bag, so i looked surprised and said that the suncare items werent advertised as bogof and that as that was such a good deal i would go and get some more and queue up in a minute

walked straight to the back of the shop to the chemist part and she put through the suncare, got all 6 for 3.50 after voucher plus she gave me another voucher, also put 250 point voucher through

bought the lipstick bag in a seperate transaction cost 1.50 after voucher

went to the front of the shop and with the no7 items they have the pink and blue gift boxes reduced to 3.00 each picked up three went back to the chemist they wouldnt go through on three for two so i questioned it and she overided it, then gave her my 5.00 voucher and it cost me 1.00 for all three well chuffed

unless you can find a sa to over ride the lipstick bags do not work on 3for2, the purple ones do though if you can find them

but if they are reduced to 3.25 (werent in southampton today) then you can get two for 1.50 which is a bargain still

oh yeh nearly forgot on the way out the shop with my huge big bag i smiled sweetly at the first sa who refused to do them

This makes me laugh, we're ALL getting these vouchers after using them and paying a bit extra, but customer services told me just a little earlier that we're not meant to! Typical, they conned me out of another voucher ¬¬

I think we will all need a break after 2 Feb.

After my battle with an SA yesterday (I lost) I failed to check my receipt, and have just noticed that I didn't get my 250 points for buying No7, although I thought the voucher scanned.

Can I face Customer Services again? Can they face me?

The main Lincoln store has burgundy bags at £6.50, and the only reduced Botanics item is foundation for £5.

BTW, lots of burgundy bags still there. Did you manage to get one yet joe13? No Botanics body bars in stock.[/QUOTE]

Yes went today and got the burgundy bag, but SA would not let me pay for it with the £5 voucher, so only purchased one. No £3/£5 vouchers left at the main till, but SA went over to No 7 counter and got me some vouchers.
  • Has anyone had problems with the boots in Mansfield, I went today and i got a Botanics waffle thing for £1.50 and the body firming cream took them to till with mag when she scanned the things it didn't take off the cream, I pointed out that it wasn't right and her reply was "the waffle thing is only £1.50" and i said so and then she said you need to buy another moisturiser to get one free and if it isn't going through the till there is nothing she can do

  • Resting today.

Did 9 transactions in 3 branches yesterday.

Spent approx £43 , point approx £33 worth . Actual cost approx £10.

Good in the bag value £300 approx.

And i've still got 3 £5 No 7 vouchers that I need to spend, plus
    3 botanics 100 points voucher
    3 vitamins 300 points vouchers.
50p of sandwiches for the next few weeks and half price snack a jacks.

Don't worry if a flu epidemic hits , I've got enough Cold and Flu sachets for you all and vitamins to rebuild your strength!

I hope the next offers aren't so addictive.

I have got the waffle body buffer thing at the St Peters Retail Park boots in Mansfield and a body sculpting cream free no problems, was only earlier this week - was it the larger boots you went to?
  • Johnson's Holiday skin is half price at £2.47.

Even better for me today since they forgot to charge me for it :)

PS I see online that you get 300 points if you spend £10 on haircare. Do you think this would work with the £3 off voucher?
