But the men's voucher just says 'men's skincare' not 'facial skincare', which is what the women's one says... think it would be worth arguing this one out?!0 -

I was in Camberley store Saturday afternoon and didn't see any
They did have a fair few botanics lipbalms though (£2.50 so free with skincare vouchers), plus they had some magazine, hidden on a bottom shelf on a corner display near the photo counter.

I would laugh at this and have suprised myself at being so stupid.
Earlier in the month I complianed to Boots about the smell that comes from the Goldenglow. It reminds me of the old tanning products, not very pleasant. I was told that if I returned them they would raise a manual credit for the full value (although they were 'free') as they were unsuitable and as such I should ring them 7 days later to have the credit raised.
I offered to have an alternative lotion ( I like the body butter etc) but was refused. Now having rang them they have refused to refund, return the items or replace the ones I was told to send back.
I said common sense(LOL) would prove that I could have just taken them to the shop for a refund had I not been told not to do that but send them back free of charge. There is no record of the conversation suprise suprise!
No Joy - no common sense either. My neck is burning with annoyance. Its the sort of feeling you get when you cant take it out on anyone.
I am furious but I must be thick as Sxxx to have followed their instructions.
So much for being honest LOL:o:rotfl:The curve that can set a lot of things straight is a smile0 -
sammyc wrote:Sorry I wasn't sure from your original quote if it was the MF boxes that you were looking for. If it was they have them in Uxbridge (if thats not too far for you). I am thinking of trying Slough tomorrow and can let you know.
Thanks Sammy, would be quite a way for me i would imagine and with 2 little boys in tow not a very enjoyable experience :rotfl:Slightly worn out mum to 3 (DS1 May 03, DS2 Feb 05, DD1 Feb 08). When i grow up i think i'll become a UN Peace keeper....0 -
There were a dozen or so MF red boxes left at Preson Fishergate at lunchtime.
The SA was amazed and said she was off to get a freebie, so not sure if there will be many left.
The machine wouldn't let me pay with my points for some reason?
All this, followed by meeting that lovely young crooner Donnie Tourette, a strang lunchtime, me thinks!0 -
