i had the same problem on friday! I questioned it while i was in store and they manually added them for me, may be worth a call to CS :)

I did question it whilst I was there, but as the total I paid was 8.40, I didn't really have a leg to stand on. lol

Bah, checked both Boots stores in Kensington, neither has the Max Factor boxes :( A few reduced items (No7 foundation for £5.25 i think, and around £2.75 for sanctuary nail & cuticle cream, plus other stuff incl tights for £2.50) but wanted a MF box :( boo hoo... now to plot my route homme via Liverpool street ;)

    would be willing to swap?

on boots topic, anyone know if max factor boxes are anywhere in suffolk?

The red boxes were in Metro centre yesterday but the SA said i couldn't have one even if I bought something coz they had "visitors" coming today and she needed them for display!! She said come back today {MONDAY} and I could have one with a £15 spend....er I don't think so!
    Good God Almighty
Save the display at all costs
Id love to go in if it was near me-take all the boxes and then move eveything else around everso slightly.
Call me petty if you like because after years of this in Boots from silly little girls indeed I think I am petty and proud of it.

  • my god, managed to get a MF box today. went to main counter with shave foam, 1 small tub of trevor sorbie mens hair mud, a bottle of hand sanitiser and a magazine. Older looking SA picked up the box and scanned it through 1st!! 'Oh, it comes up as 0.00' 'Yeah' I blagged, 'it comes free with that' generally pointing at my basket....
!!What could it have possibly come free with??!!! She looked a little bemused but continued anyway! paid £6.50 once voucher taken off.

That's made my day. Try again this week :D:D:D

Id still give CS a call! :)

I did my sanctuary stuff in 3 seperate transactions and used the £2.50 vouchers to pay for them.
They were little travel sets im not sure how much they were originally but they were reduced to £2.50 had a bit of a problem using the vouchers as they had to put it through manually coz it was reduced the till didnt recognise what it was.
The till accepted my £2.50 vouchers and my 200 points acm vouchers but it didnt actually add the points on.
The manager came down and manually added them for me and was well aware of what i had done. :)

I would use the hair straighteners one if you really dont want it! :p
  • I missed out on about 500 points at the weekend (various EA and botanics 100pt coupons which didnt scan).

Obv i'm going to contact CS - do you guys think its better to email, phone or write? Email is much easier but no point if they dont reply!
