Cerenia wrote:There several boxes there? I usually work sunday, but was given today off, but will be residing in work/boots romford rest of the week, but I find Chris (at photo counter, blonde curvy lady) is good for the deals, although I had to explain the botanics vouchers offer to her twice, but she was good. No7 girls are usually good as well for non-makeup offers.
There were stacks around the MF counter
thanks will try again in the week xxxx0 -

Any advise please
They used to only be on the day printed, but recently that seems to have changed and a lot of them have expiry dates on them. I've definitely printed some out and then used them on a different date. The only ones I've noticed that are still for use on day of printing only are the 'spend £XX and receive XXXpoints' kind. I got my MF box yesterday (thank you for this great find).
I also managed to grab another freebie from the MF stand. It was in a clear zip up small pouch with pink backing and clear at the front with two nail varnishes in it, I think they were french polish nail varnishes. I saw the sign that said free and grabbed one and ran downstairs, this also went through as 0.00 just like the boxes. I think they are free when you have a makeover of book a makeover, something like that.
I'm not sure if this was just my store or nationwide....Good Luck!!0 -
On my weekend trip to boots I came across some botanics kits marked down (the small square boxes). Picked up a couple and tried them with the £2.50 skincare voucher and they worked. Came out with a lipbalm, box worth £6, box worth £7 and 300 points for £1.50. Not bad for a weekend's work.
Also had a complaining OH. But that's pretty standard.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

reddeb wrote:Has anyone used the £2.50 mens voucher to buy the botanics lip balm? sorry if this as already been asked, just don't want to look stupid if I try. Thanks.
tried this and it DIDN'T work
sa said because it was not a mens item??! - can men not use lipbalm??
very sexist!
i know she meant the botanics item must say the word mens on, but half of the range are still in old packaging, which doesn't say mens.
This was a week ago. i ended up trying all sorts of botanics things that WERE mens - and even half of these didn't work....sa tried telling me that shaving gels are not facial skincare....i said 'well my partner doesn't shave anywhere else!'
in the end she called the lady from upstairs, who was the nicest ever....she put all my mens botanics through manually, in seperate transactions, including my 100point coupons from the mags, and £2.50 off each item, and then when she'd done this 8 times (spending under £3) i passed her my wrap and peel and said i'd like to pay for this with points please...(this was when glitch was still working) she said 'very clever' and when i left she said 'have a nice day!'
she was so nice, made a refreshing change
hoping to find a max factor box or 2 today. but am on v tight budget this week so am v nervous.
bet i won't be lucky enough to find any
