  • Can anyone tell me how much the MF boxes are if they don't work with the "get one free with any purchase". And don't just say 'it will work' because sometimes these offers don't always work everywhere e.g. the 641 suncare thing didn't work at my local store. I'm going to give the MF box a try tomorrow but want to make sure I've got enough cash on me to pay for it if necessary. Thanks :D ....and wish me luck!!!

Has anyone used the £2.50 mens voucher to buy the botanics lip balm? sorry if this as already been asked, just don't want to look stupid if I try. Thanks.

I think plenty of people have used their vouchers for this. You shouldn't have any problems.

good luck but its free and fingers crossed it will go through-try and find a bored looking male sa at the pharmacy or photo tills. Its leftover from a xmas offer so it cant be charged for and it comes up as £0.00 on the till-even the gwp means gift with purchase so no sa can complain whatever you buy-it doesn't say gwmfp(gift with maxfactor purchase).ive done it 4 times and it worked just disguise it with some other item

Would love to try the max factor offer but my local boots is so small there's not enough room to swing a frog let alone a cat!! and def no max factor counter!!

im gutted *stamps foot* i want a mf box!!!!!!

has anyone used their mens skincare voucher on anything yet? i dont know what to do with mine!

Jamtart, refer back to my posts previously for mens stuff, I'll list everything recommended so far.....

Nivea shaving FOAM, not gel. £2.69 minus voucher.

Loreal Men Xpert 24hr moisturiser £4.48 minus voucher (very good stuff, worth the money, just reduced from £4.99)

Loreal Men Xpert shaving FOAM, not gel. £2.79 minus voucher

Botanics shave stick - look for SEL saying £3, they'll honour it even though it scans through at £3.75. use 100 point voucher.

Botanics shave gel. £3 minus voucher. Old packaged stuff scans through at £1.37!!! use 100 point voucher.

I have also heard rumours of lip balms being put through although not tried it myself yet.

Hope this helps. Mens stuff is a little limited!! :D

  • Tried twice in Romford Liberty but young SA's both went off to ask senior SA ! tried to disguise with various toiletries but sadly no-go. 2nd SA said they were for display only!

Im still new to this bootsying malarky and havnt got the courage to be more firm (yet) :o
