Boots: spent £21.52
1 x 5 day detox plan,
2 x revlon compact concealers,
1 x Huggies wipes,
1 x Nivea shave foam,
used dble points coupon, 75 pts coupon from AC machine on £10 spend, £1 off Huggies coupon, free revlon concealer coupon and Boots £2.50 mens coupon for the Nivea product
Was all flustered and was expecting more chnge back from poor cashier as i used both cash and gift vouchers and got confused armed with list to buy/look out for and coupons.
Wish it wasn't so stressful shopping in Boots.. oh and free revlon concealer coupon wouldn't scan, had to get keys to till for over-riding. Did get another voucher though.
Second transaction, never got a thing but oh don't even want to think about it - so embarrased..Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
Boots points: £0.28
Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)

Literally pennies to pay? Or over £5? Just wondering as I thought you had to spend over £5 to get new vouchers.
Thanks.0 -

where did you get the revlon voucher from - was it the one than was in the metro?
also dont be embarrased about your transaction that went wrong - it happens to us all!
sharing it could help someone else from making the same mistake?0 -

Thanks WKD-Lauren.
Yes the revlon voucher was the one than was in the Metro paper yesterday.
There was Sanctuary sachet face masks (white packaging) marked on shelf at £1 but scanned as £2.50 each. Tried to use my Boots £2.50 voucher on it but didn't work. Found out as this was a different range (sun something??). So embarrased after SA went to price check etc for me due to price on shelf and scan price. I must have been in the queue for at least 20 mins total.Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)

Thanks.
Yes. Can't remember the exact figures, but got 2 mens antibacterial shave gel, & 1 womens skin brightening deep clean gel, & a Pore perfecting toner. All came to about £5.70ish. Handed over a £5 note & the 2 X £2.50 vouchers, got £4 + change back + more vouchers. The sa was as surprised as I was. Didn't question it tho, so I made a hasty exit!
EDIT this was in a small local Boots, where in the past (before I'd got any vouchers) I'd picked up a reduced foot cream for £1.49 and was told to choose a free moisturising product. Got the body butter tub. The sa said 'I don't think it will accept that' but when she tried it went through the till no problem. She then went & got the same combination for herself! I think that was the transaction that gave me my first vouchers, the £5 & £3 ones.0 -
silly question time, but can u use unlimited multiples of the mens 2.50 vouchers in one transaction?? i have 7.50 worth and was wondering if i could shift the whole lot in one go and get some nice stuff for my bits of boots paper.
Also, whats the best deal that my wife can get with her 2.50 womens vouchers?? TTFNSorry but please keep your signature to 4 lines in length - MSE Forum Team 20 -
