Well yesterday I thought I had done well to get the No 7 Peel kit for £3 with a £5 voucher. Then I learnt I could have got the wrap as well as till recoginises the Peel's original price of £16
So today I had to go for the triple whammy - and it worked !!!!
A peel kit AND a wrap for £3 (after using £5 voucher).
Felt like doing it again but once was enough - even though I got other shopping on top the total still felt too low for such a big bag of shopping and the SA looked amazed at how little she had to ask me for.
Now I always buy my No 7 lipstick gift bags (£6.50) at the main checkouts rather than the No 7 counter as I know you should not really use the £5 voucher against them as they are both a sale item AND a gift item
I have never had any refusals (luckily) but lo and behold - my last time of using a £5 voucher - and the girl says "I don't think you can use the voucher with this" - I took it with good grace and just said "oh that's fine but I'll go and find something else instead" - then the girl - ever so helpful - said she would go and check with the No 7 Consultant - YES THE CONSULTANT !!!! - if I could use it and ran off. At this point I was going red as I saw her approach the No 7 counter desk    words were spoken, glances were exchanged my way, I wanted a hole to swallow me up..........the girl rushed back........."Yes it's fine you can use your voucher...........****FAINTS****0 -

My OH's interest in Boots extends only as far as amusement that they don't like taking money for goods in there, and in knowing he has enough for a sandwich on his card now.
he used to look at me as if I was mad but now he helps me build up points on his card not only that he gets a reduction on any boots brand products because he is 60.0 -

Hi,
What do you mean by "triple whammy"? Hope it's not a too stupid question?0 -
Had a quick look and couldnt see if anyone had already listed the (cheaper!) items you can get with new £2.50 mens and womens vouchers, so apologies if this has already been posted!
Ive only listed products under £3 (prices before voucher discount) -
Botanics: (plus 100p from mag if still available!)
Mens Shave gel £3.00
Eye makeup remover £2.99
Cleansing wipes and Pore Perfecting wipes £2.99
Intensive lipbalm £2.50 (not 100% sure u can get lipbalm on these vouchers?)
Pore perfecting toner £2.99
Nivea:
Shaving foam £2.69
Facial wash gel £2.99
Purifying toner oily skin £2.79
Various Lipbalms from £1.11 - 2.12
Sanctuary: (very little under £3, dont forget 200p acm voucher!)
Mint and Rosemary mask £2.50
Facial cloths £5 (even with points voucher I dont think that ones worth it! or am I just being tight with my purse string now?!)
Please feel free to add to this, Im sure Ive missed somethings. Didnt get chance to look for L'oreal, K2, time delay or garnier. Theres nothing from the real shaving co for under £3. Its a shame sanctuary is so dear, I only get it if its on clearance!0 -
I was looking at the sanctuary stuff to get with the voucher and I walked straight away
I ended up getting botaics wipes for £2.99 - leaving 49p to pay... but iv (and my local store) run out of mags and 100points coupons   :heartpuls Miss Cheivous :heartpuls:A Boots Tart in Training :ABoots AC points - £28.210
