Please report that horrible SA to Head Office! Poor old lady - thats really upset me!
To be honest it really upset me too. I work so hard when I'm in the hospital to make sure that people are happy and give them all the time I can. I get really upset if any of the patients are really ill or even worse die. maybe I'm in the wrong profession as I get very emotional.:oLiverbird wrote:How awful......that SA might have been the only person that old lady spoke to today! I would have had something to say to the SA.....what a cow!0 -

I totally agree I work in a shop and we have many elderly people come in and also young disabled people they are regular customers and in need of conversation I always chat to them and have grown very fond and sometimes worry if they don't call in .0 -
I must say I agree with all your comments re the horrid SA it does not cost anything to be polite and we all pay her wages if we didnt shop she wouldnt have a job the horrid horrid lady. I will get off my soap box now.0

kirst wrote:Well, i thought i was finished with boots.......but no, my lunch friend at work was on holiday today, so i went to boots for a meal deal for lunch, to stop me sitting at my desk on the internet like a sado (and anyways, i can surf the net during work hours!!) when i was there i spotted some totes scarves (sp?) and some sequin belts, from earlier posts i knew these were reduced, took them to check and they were 90% off, so i had to get them, 2 x scarves & 2 x belts. (There are a couple of belts & gloves left - Glasgow Fort) - Christmas stuff is 90% off!!!
This puts my items over £5 and i get a voucher, when im leaving the tills i spot some christmas stuff, not much, but enough to get me to buy some, £5 worth and got another voucher then also £12 worth in points.
Just couldnt spend the vouchers as my bags were too heavy to carry more!!
So now i have the two vouchers in my purse, ill need to go out tomorrow to spend them! The boots vicious voucher circle has started all over again!!! AARRRGGGHHH
But anyways - thanks to all for your tips! Loving getting skint in boots!
Be careful surfing internet too much during working hours, big brother is possibly watching you (depending on how strict the company you work for is), I work in IT and someone in HR wanted stats on a particular member of staffs usage of the internet during working hours.Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)

I always treat everybody as equals. Sadly some shop SAs are in the wrong job, as they lack 'people skills'. A few months ago, a rather nasty SA in the food hall in Marks and Spencer had an old lady in front of me close to tears. The old dear was 40p short for her shopping and couldnt decide which item to put back. I gave the SA the 40p and told her to have some sympathy as she would be old herself one day! The old lady was so embarassed by the whole experience...and very grateful that a stranger would give her 40p. Sad, but true.0

This may have been answered already - I'm pages adrift. There isn't one in the No7 line unfortunately, but the Ruby & Millie one (£11) is excellent. However it is one of the packaged accessory brushes (seperate section) so even with a co-operative SA I'm not sure the voucher would work for discount.
Failing that, at least one of the posh lines does one, so could be a good choice towards any forthcoming GWP.
I've been bugging the Clinique lady since about November, and realised with joy today that IT'S FEBRUARY! (which was the stock response - "nothing until February")Do I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending£2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:0
