ring customer services and ask them-they are usually really understanding-explain you got the wrong items on bogof and you would like to exchange for something else they might give you a code you can take in store with you which the sa enters on till and it tells them to put the amount on a giftcard.they helped me on the golden glow a while ago
p.s Is the sa mad! Why would anybody return suncare and then buy some more?

I tried to exchange suncare items today, factor 15 energising facial suncare - wanted to swap for the same but in factor 25 and pay the extra (and hopefully get the wrap :D ).

I even told the SA that I used the £5 voucher but I wasn't allowed to do it - they said they don't exchange suncare items because they can't tell if they have been used or not.
I pointed out that the tubes were all sealed with a foil strip and couldn't possibly have been used but she wasn't interested so I settled for buying 2 of the factor 25 anyway and getting the bag.

No harm in giving it a go - if you don't ask you don't get and there's always another store and another day.

Most have the date on which they are printed. In theory they are only valid for that day, but if the SA doesn't check, the till still accepts them (as long as the offer is still available).

I think you can use them in other stores, but I haven't tried in stores that don't have an ACM.

I've recently had ACM vouchers which had ann expiry date on which was a week or so after they were printed. This was for the Gorgeous Feet BOGOF before Christmas.

    Hi

Just been to my local boots with my friend (to show her the great bargains to be had!) I bought 2 £11.50 after sun BOGOF (for my friend she didn't want to try it!) also handed over the free no.7 wrap and a few other bits and bobs. It scanned fine. Only paid for 1 aftersun with £5 voucher and got wrap free.

So my friend tried it with 2 facial suncare £8.50 BOGOF and the wrap and a few other things. SA (different till) scanned the sun care and then looked at the till and said you can't have the wrap as you will only pay £8.50. I was stood next to my friend and as it is only a small store the SA must have known me when I had been in before:o I think thats why she may have said that:confused:

So it definitley depends in the SA in my opinion it worked for me but not my friend so if you want the wrap go for it, if it doesn't work just say you thought there was a different offer on and say you'll leave it!

Thanks for clarification, it looks like the offer is still on.

I've had problems redeeming points for special offers like this before.
Last gift time (burgundy bag) I wanted to pay with points but the till wouldnt let me redeem the linksaves. Same happened when I tried to get Botanics Body lotion freebie with 31p razors. I asked CS and they said you should be able to redeem points for all offers but it looks like there's problems.

Has anyone been able to redeem points for the new jewellery wrap offer?

    Hi

I received new codes for online orders today, posted on voucher board.

    1000 points on £75, 500 on £50
  • Just a quick point - lots of the gift sets have coupons inside with dates in February/March `07. I did not want to appear a meanie so I have taken the coupons out. I didn`t want everyone to know I had bought them sale items (or worse have them think they were unwanted gifts of mine). If the box rips they can be put in baskets or tissue. The items are still good for 24 months or so (there usually is a little open jar symbol on the back).
