As i spent £5 I got the 2 x £2.50 vouchers off
£2.50 off facial skincare time delay/nivea/ botanics/gernier/neutrogena
£2.50 off men's skincare l'oreal men expert/nivea for men/ botanics mens/ K2 / the real shaving expert.
Now what's the best things to buy?
Am I missing something here is the new offer spend £5 instore and receive the above. If so then the mens Botanic shaving gel at £1.39 ish must work.
Also would the £2.50 come off of the Botanics facial cloth which is £2.50.
I am sure someones tried this and will know.CUT OFF DATE FOR XMAS 2008 1st NOVPB £17.87, Ipoints 3907, QUIDCO £217.94,SHOP&SCAN 1950, LITESPEED 1265,PINECONE £8,BOOTS £18.62, IPSOS 1190, VALUED OPINIONS £19.25,MISC SURVEYS CLICK THROUGH ACCS ETC £23,0 -

Miserable day in Boots for me today!
None of the new eyeshadow pallettes left!! 0r any of the new colours. AC machine didn't give me any usefull vouchers (after all the money I've spent lately!) Minimum spend points for £20 spend!
No Suncare products under £9.50 left and I really didn't want to spend much more money on suncreams,as I've already got loads, just to get the free gift.
Struggled to use my £5 No7 voucher but the Christmas edition 'Whisper ' nail varnish is £5.50 so only 50p with voucher.
Hardly any cheaper hair products left to use £3 voucher either
Think I will stay away from Boots for a while - have spent a fortune there in last month!!0 -
curlylocks wrote:This is my first post - I just had to thank everyone for all the tips for bargain hunting in Boots. I now have bags of suncare, botanics and haircare all over the house
My latest aquisition is the lovely No. 7 gift which came into the stores this morning - did the BOGOF on the £7.50 suncare, used a £5 voucher so got it for £2.50, I am delighted:rotfl:
Have been loading my advantage card with points, its a temporary one - can anyone tell my how long it takes for the plastic one to arrive as I am dying to use the instore machine?
probably about a week- 10days. dont get your hopes up, my mum used her new card and no offers in the machine. its all tailored to look at what you have bought in the past - so tecnhically i should get more beauty and hair offers than someone who only buys mens stuff i think..... it can take a while for the offers to come up

jamtart6 wrote:I thought about getting the eye pallate for a present (or for me!) but it would work out cheaper to get the suncare stuff - but will i really use it? Id rather spend it on stuff I'll use!
Do no.7 do wipes ? if so how much?
So it'd be
£10.50 + £6.00 =16.50
-£5.00 voucher
= £11.50
- 200 points
=£9.50....... hmm do I want it all that much???
That was my thinking too, its all well and good buying suncare because its cheap but I am over run with suncare so thought I would go for something I would really use!
I am also regretting a little bit buying all the suncare I did buy when I could have used my £5 voucher on stuff I actually needed and will use
I think the wipes and an eye pallette is a good combo if you have enough suncare and the eye pallette would make a really lovely present
There is also 250 points on the N07 hydro quench but not sure how much that costs.Stopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945Smoke free days = 11 Years :TCash saved so far = £125,45,110 -

So if you bought Botanics lip balm, some cold cure for 99p or the ones on BOGOF for £1.55 plus three smile toothpastes will they take your 100 points smile toothpaste voucher from the machine, 100 points cold cure from the mag, 100 points Botancis from the mag plus your £2.50 coupon and then give you a new 2.50/2,50 voucher? :rotfl:
Have a Boots fantasy again!

Has anybody tried getting 3 gift bags with 2 suncare bags (£24 on bogof)? I've got a No.7 parenting voucher burning a hole in my purseCos I don't shine if you don't shine.0

jamtart6 wrote:Do you think the £2.50 vouchers off the sanctuary stuff +200 points will work on the cheap stuff ?? ie. the stuff under £2.50?? they have loads of scrub sachets for £1-£2 in that range AND online they have 1/3rd off certain products - wonder if thats in store too??
Basically if something is £4.50 or under you can use the £2.50 voucher +200 points and they are effectively paying you to take it away

Theres the stuff under £5 (but its 1/3rd off online) - anyone know if its the same in store??
Also in the new No7 gift bag there is a voucher for £2 off a £10 spend on Sanctuary products. So perhaps all 3 could be combined.0 -
I am actually going to calm down a bit with my Boots buying as I realised while putting todays shopping away( or rather forcing it into an already full drawer lol ), how much stuff do you really need or can use before it goes off?
For instance, last year with the great Everyday Indulgence glitch, I had a look in my Boots cupboard and I still have 8 bottles of handwash/bodywash!
I also still have two full bottles of Toni and Guy shampoo (the enormous bottles) that were on a glitch of 2 for £7 last year.
Along with about 15 bottles of suncare and at least 10 tubs/bottles of moisturisers, I think I have enough to last me for a long time.
It is so easy to get carried away with getting a bargain but we all have to remember thats its only a bargain if we actually need it, it is a moneysaving site after all!
