Were you able to use the £5 off voucher with it too, i.e. only paying £1 for the lot? Thanks. If I had known then what I know now . . .

Has anyone registered on the change one thing website? https://www.bootschangeonething.com/register.html
It says 'Register now to get access great promotions and offers from Boots to help you Change One Thing' , however when I try to register it keeps telling me my email address does not appear to be valid - I've tried two different ones and neither works
Maybe the offers are just the same as in the booklets in store, but thought it would be worth registering anyway! Anyone done so successfully?0 -

Couldnt agree more. I was showing my Mum my No7/Botanics colection of 'purchases' yesterday and we were sorting it into lots for presents and thinking of people to give it away to etc.
I wouldnt dream of trying to take it back and get full price for it. I consider taking advantage of the offers a bit of savvy consumerism - to attempt to get more money back that what i'd paid by lying would be stealing IMHO.BargainMad wrote:I would even ask those people who are thinking of taking back Botanics items/No 7 items that they got free for a refund/exchange to please think again.
SAs are not stupid - they know that you got them FREE and are now wanting to swap them for something that "you really want" by pretending to have an adverse reaction to it or pretending you paid full price for one item when you actually got six free !
SURE you might get away with it, but the matter will be discussed at team meetings, managers and stock control will know about it, it will get fedback to promotions people and in the end they will cut back on voucher offers because it eats into margins !!!
You got lots of items FREE - use them, give them away, donate them to charity but please don't go back to Boots and ask them to swap them for something that you really want. Harsh words that won't go down well with the "MILLITANT" here but again think of the bigger picture.0 -
I agree too, If I have anything that I wont use myself, I make a lot of gift sets for birthdays/christmas etc, I will put things like this in these. I think its unfair to return freebie items and try to swap for something you actually want :heartpuls Miss Cheivous :heartpuls:A Boots Tart in Training :ABoots AC points - £28.210

For best value, it's better to get six of the same price if you can!0
