In the sale items some had signs saying 90% off, however it didnt kick in. Sa was great, it took ages but she put them through at 90% of the origional price. Some things were still 75 % Sa wouldnt let anyone buy anymore as computers are not set up properly, maybe worth a try tomorrow though
Some of the things I got were:
Bratz furry shawl was £15 now £1.50
Loads of sticker book was £2.99-£5.99 reduced to 30p & 60p
small puzzle games was £4. now 40p
alarm clocks was £15. now £1.50
Hair clips £6 now 60p
cranium game in a tin was £14.99 now £3.50
Cranium card game was £6.99 now £1.75
wrapping paper 90% off
superman watches 90% off
stationary kids sets 90% off
Also got no7 641 twice
3X free time delay sets reduced to £4.99 they were the pampering sets but I used the £5 off time delay starter set & it went through fine.
found some reduced botanics so got 2 free creams & 200 extra points. Im a few pence off £190 now. No idea what Im going to spend it on though
All in all a great day:D

I'm off to Leeds tomorrow and would love to give 6 for 1 a go but am frightened they might say 'Thanks, That'll be £132!!!'
I am a failure at Bootsing!!!!:(
If it was me, I would go to a friendly looking, young male if possible and explain you bought the wrong items and you would like to do an exchange.
I would already have the correct items in my basket to exchange them with and just take it from there ( use different suncare to the ones you are taking back).
Your comment of "I am frightened they might say Thanks, That'll be £132!!!" had me laughing out loud :rotfl:Stopped smoking Jan 2007 after 23 years!Cigarettes NOT smoked = 240,945Smoke free days = 11 Years :TCash saved so far = £125,45,110 -

I must remember not to panic buy-when I get flustered and all the offers are flying round in my head I just pick up anything!!!!!:rotfl:

I wasn't allowed to use my £5 voucher against the 342 burgundy bags, so I left them and consoled myself with over £100 of sun care. I also used up most of my 300 point vitamin coupons. SA still gave me 2 x £5 vouchers even though I hadn't paid £5 in cash after the voucher was taken off, so I'm still left with another 2 x £5 vouchers and I have 2 X 300 points vitamn vouchers left.
I also have 5 X £3 hair care vouchers, I don't suppose anyone knows of any straightening products - sprays or waxes that are free or nearly free with the vouchers.:beer:0 -

there were lots of talking bagpusses for £3 each ( i bought 3 to go with the singing mice i bought myself for christmas ) :j
Hi fellow sandgrounder!

When you 'buy' the new No7 rewind foundation you get a free box of mini Uplift samples. In the box as well as a 300pts voucher for any Uplifting cream there is a small leaflet.
At the end of the spiel it says " Look out for our limited edition Spring
Colours in larger stores from 31st JAN 2007, but get there quick, our last eye
pallette sold out in our stores in 2 weeks!"
As the £5 vouchers are valid until 2nd Feb it might be worth saving one (or2!) for the new colours.
I did the 641 in our local store yesterday, then met my daughter and showed her how to do it . She went upstairs to the photo dept to pay and when she got t o the till the SA's were chatting (they're really nice ) and one said ' a lady was here just now and she had loads for next to nothing - I don't know how she did it!' :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
kegan5 wrote:Argh now I'm confused...
I've bought 3 no7 items including the Age rewind foundation (which included the free No.7 me time set)
I seem to have been charged full price for all 3 items, minus the £5.00 but no 3 for 2.
i've called boots and they said I would have to post my receipt to themI went back to the SA 3 times because she made mistakes, but she told me the 3 for 2 did come of... hummmmmmmmm either i'm just dumb or the calculator is.

The SAs in my Boots are so helpful - they tried the various combinations to see which worked out to be the best plus they gave me a couple of self tan freebies.
Today I got £228.25 worth of goods and paid £29.86 plus earned enough points to get the £23.32 stepper. The SA then organised security to carry it out to the car!
Still have 5 300 and 1 250 points vouchers - loads of haircare vouchers and 1 £5 No 7.
DD arrived in Perth this morning with a suitcase of suncare for my sisters and their families. 40 degrees down there at the mo - so should get used quite quickly.
Todays haul will be shared out amongst my friends at work at the price I paid. Sunscreen is only effective for a year or so - no point hoarding loads for next year.0
