INR: What next

Hi there you knowledgable folks. Just want a bit of information really.

I won an auction and I paid for an Item on 9th October, still not received it. Have been in various communication with sellers, who have informed me I have to wait until today (when item is officially lost). I mailed them today to inform them item still not arrived, could they please issue a refund. What is my next procedure. Thanks

  • If they don't refund by tomorrow then open an item not received dispute in payPal
  • I have been really accomodating, and really understanding of their needs because they are relatively new to ebay, but at the same time, i have to protect myself.

So its best to open in paypal not ebay, can somebody please explain the difference, as I purchased in ebay but paid via paypal... thanks in anticipation.
  • Unless the item is fake you should always open a dispute in paypal because paypal have set timeframes and are stricter than ebay, the reason you should not open a fake item dispute in paypal is that it's up to you to prove that it's fake, whereas with ebay the seller has to prove it's genuine
