Paid after non paying item case closed

Hi, just had a buyer ask where their item is. I was a little confused as I didn't think they had bought an item. What had happened was they hadn't paid, I opened a non paying bidder case after a week. This was closed 4 days later with me getting my fees back etc. Then after a bit I just deleted off my home page so it goes in archived. Now looking at it, it looks like, well they have paid because it's in my paypal account over a week after the case was closed. I hadn't posted it because it was not on my home page. In fact in archived it just says case closed, but when I move it to sold view it comes up as paid. I hadn't noticed the payment in the paypal account because I only download it monthly and it was a very small amount. I didn't think this could happen. Anyway its posted now, just waiting for them to neg me because they paid a couple of weeks ago.

If the NPB case closed against them then they shouldn't be able to leave FB. Did they pay before the case was opened & closed against them?0

No they paid a week after the NPB case had closed, which I didn't think was possible.0

Every time I've opened, and then closed a case without having received any payment, the note on the screen from eBay states - the buyer is now blocked from making payment or leaving feedback and your final fees have been refunded - or something along those lines. So I thought the same as you...that it wasn't possible for them to pay?? Weird. Just refund if you can find the original paypal payment.0
