JSA Emergency

Hiya members!
Have a situation here and was looking for some advice please.
Im out of a job and I completed an online JSA application last friday.
Ive always been in a job and have never claimed for more than three weeks in the past.
I have two interviews lined up in the next week and seem hopeful of getting a job.
The problem is, they rang me today (JSA) and said I have an interview Friday, then I have to wait maybe another 14 days before I get paid.
I have ZERO cash. My account is maxxed out. Ive paid off my debts to companys and rent with what I had and I owe some friends some money. I dont have any money to eat by Saturday.
What can I do to fast track this claim? I was thinking of walking into my jobcentre tomorrow and pleading to have my interview done asap or something?
What can i do?

Hi
Check out the Trussel trust and other food banks as they offer food parcells to get you through the gap. I understand it is now official policy to refer people to them when they have nothing to eat.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
If your just out a job surly you have wages due to you? Or why didnt you claim sooner? Why pay off debts when you knew you would need that money to live? When unempolyed debtors often accept token payments
There isnt alot you can do, alot of people will of been in your situation.0 -
You can apply for a crisis loan but they are not guaranteed. There is no point in going to the jobcentre tomorrow as they will only be able to change your appointment if there are slots available and if there are they will likely call you to move it forward anyway.0

I was out last Monday, I claimed Friday. Wages came in. - Whatever else Im owed will not be paid out until next Friday because of some payroll crap. The money I paid off was well overdue. I didnt know a claim would take so long. I thought Id have an interview like on Wednesday and payment come in from the JSA by Friday or Saturday. Everything I owed is paid off and £70 will carry me for the next three weeks. By which time I will have a job.0 -

Can I do this online or do I go in to the jobcentre? Do i have to wait until Friday or I can do this asap?
Thanks0 -
Crisis Loan as Alignment to Benefit - if you genuinely have no other resources, then you'll be paid a small amount to tide you over, and it will be deducted from future benefit payments.
You need to call, you can't apply online. You'll have to go to your local Jobcentre to collect the payment. You'll be on the phone about 30 minutes, but the call is free from most mobile phones. I suggest you call around 8am - lines are quiet then.0 -

Thanks
You apply when you have NOTHING left - if you've got a few days food they won't consider you to be in crisis, and thus won't pay.0
