now that head office has been alerted, I'd be surprised to find anything now.

I think you're possibly right there.

I nipped to my local T extra earlier and found a brown chunky zip cardi and checked the price. 4p !!! I was in heaven tho not for very long. :( I went to self checkout along with a few other bits. One of the staff removed the security tag for me before I started scanning my items. Came back with it to my till so I could scan it. She went away. I scanned the item and she came back and said that she'd been alerted on her screen that the item had scanned at 4p and couldn't be sold. I was gutted.I didn't obviously want to buy it for more so just said I'd leave it.
What a lovely pressie that would've been for Grandad.

  • Picked up another ladies rugby shirt today for 4p - we visit an orphanage in Luxor every year when we are on holiday and they love anything with England on :)

Was some new stock on the sale rail and some of it was S/S11 and A/W10 but I couldn't scan any of it as there was small boy swinging off the scanning machine, watched by his mother and grandmother who seemed to find it amusing, which resulted in the machine being rendered unusable (hopefully a temporary glitch)

Where were the rugby shirts? I looked all round yesterday but could only see the boys on the sale rail in the middle of the floor.

Did manage this jacket for £1 http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=48141373&postcount=8071

and these ankle socks for 4p each hanging on clip strips http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=48139305&postcount=8022

  • Just to let you know i gave customer service head office a ring, and was told these items are left over from the recent £1 sales and have been wrongly repriced at 4p and should not have been on sale within the store, cannot be sold, all items unsold for £1 should have been removed from the stores and been disposed of as waste, when i put it to them isn't it better i take it for 4p and use it rather than you then have to pay someone to dispose of it, i was told it's just their policy and they have the right to refuse sale of these items.
It doesnt mean they have the right to call you a thief tho! Disgraceful service, I bought some 2 days ago & trout on the till said she needed to check with her manager, the manager came over & told her it was fine & that it was the 1p items they couldnt sell. Hugs for you

    Not quite.

There are two with the man on, the ss10 one and the aw10 one. The one that DID scan at full price has now come down to £50 and in time hopefully will also come down to £9.50 to match the other one that scans for £9.50.

Some of these manufacturers do like to complicate things!!
  • Rugby shirt was a ladies size 12 and was in the middle of all the other ladies sale goods on the sale aisle, left hand-side bottom rail.

Anyone been to BIF today? is the scanner working again? got to go and pick up a duvet later :)

Oh NO I can't believe it, that wee boy has killed our life line!!!! What are we to do? Can we all start complaining to C/S for it to be repaired!!!

Found a pair of capri pants said SS11 but no where to scan! Did find 4 pairs of those ankle socks/tights so risked them, 4p.

There are also value christmas wrapping paper going through at 15p 3for2. Correct SEL. Red paper white outline of presents.

New stack of chopped tomatoes at end of freezer aisle only 29p, quite cheap as Netto now closed in B/W and they sold really cheap tinned tomatoes.
