Pay as you use tariffs

Are there any competitive tariffs where you can 'pay as you use', ie. non-budget scheme tariffs, or does that option rule out getting the very cheapest deal?

    "Pay as you use". Do you mean before or after you have used the fuel?

    Variable monthly direct debit schemes where you do all the work in terms of providing monthly meter readings are some of the cheapest non standing charge tarriffs.
  • Yes, i mean pay for what you use each month, rather than being on a budget scheme. Any examples?
