Magnetic resistance on (new) exercise bike not working
I just recently got a new exercise bike from York fitness. It’s a c202 and im a little disappointed as the magnetic resistance isn’t working.
I bought it off Amazon so I know I can send it back but to be honest id rather get it working and was wondering if anyone knew any troubleshooting tips.
I have contacted York fitness a number of times but they have failed to get back to me.
The bike is effectively just out of the box , I would have thought something like this should have worked straight away, no obvious signs of damage, cables (the ones that I can access anyway) are connected and no fault readings on display.
Any tips appreciated

If you assembled it and are using it as described in the user manual and it doesn't work, it's faulty and should be returned.
If you're feeling adventurous, you could use the exploded parts diagram in the user manual to locate the connector at the bottom of the machine (which appears to be pre-assembled for you) to see if that has pulled apart, but you risk voiding the warranty if you take it to bits to do that.0
