Hi
I was listening to the radio earlier and heard about the closing auction of the Howard Hotel. Its meant to be a sister Hotel to the Savoy. They are closing due to the owners converting the land into flats. The Hotel a refurb done about two months ago( I heard for about £1.8m).
You can go in person and bid or online.
The site is bidspotter.co.uk
I have never bid in these types of auctions and don't know alot about them. I have not bought anything from this site before and do not know if it ok or not.
People are buying full bedrooms for about £400 all in. They are selling everything-lights,sofas,tables etc.
I hope a more experienced moneysaver is maybe abe to check this out for everyone else.
Sorry if this is no good and please delete.

remember with all these in absentia auctions to check buyers premiums and other costs carefully. Also check the requirements to clear your goods promptly.
I have used a similar site cbefore for smaller auction houses and whilst the costs wer ehigh it was a useful way of bidding without having to attend in person.
