Has anyone ordered a laptop from either of these companies and what were your views?

I have not ordered a laptop from bigpockets, but have ordered loads of stuff from them, like blank media, memory cards, DVD recorders, base units, monitors etc etc. Have always found them to be excellent. This might help a little?

i have ordered plenty of stuff including laptop,my only gripe was that they tried to deliver it when i was out. i had to travel about 30 mile round trip to pick it up as the courier they used would not deliver a second time and thier depot was 15 miles from portsmouth.other than that the laptop is still running fine although battery is dead.but i cant hold them responsible for that.

Ordered it from Silverstream in the end because they had the best specced machine for the price I wanted to pay. Being delivered today and they're sending me an upgraded model because the one on the website wasn't available - getting more hdd and bluetooth for the same price.
I've requested morning delivery if possible and I'll let you know how I get on.
