Working 2 weeks noticei have been made redundant from my work, and am currently on 2 weeks notice out of 10 that i am entitled to. My termination date is friday, and that will be the end of my second weeks notice. I will be getting paid this, and the other 8 weeks notice, wont have to work those 8 though.

I have to hand in my staff discount card on friday, the termination date. Question is. Can i claim jsa on monday or do i need to wait the other 8 weeks, even though i have been given my termination date as this friday? Sorry if this is hard to read, as i typed on a phone.

    You can claim straight away but you won't get paid for a while.
