Can garage refuse to release my car??? Please help!!!

They realised they was on dodgy ground then,there contract was not with you so they are unable to hold the car.0

I would ask for it in writing, or even a recorded conversation stating they are refusing to return your car, then I would estimate its value and issue county court proceedings for the value of the car against the ford dealer.

I have that in writing in my email from the guy from ford. But trust me going through Court is a last thing you want to do, I've done it in the first place against car dealer that sold me faulty car. Not only It took a year, but also cost me extra money and at the end of it because they gone "busted" ( they still trading but under different name ) I had nothing back apart from car with broken engine, and even to get that was struggle.
There is something really wrong with a law enforcement in this Country.0
