Close account or wait

Hi this my 1st post after months of looking on these boards

I currently have a ppi claim in with mbna sent about 4 weeks ago and I have now managed to clear my credit card, which I was going to cancel my question is will it help my cliam having the account open or can I close it??

    It doesn't really matter. I had a closed account with MBNA from 2008 and claimed my PPI back recently. Although I do have another account with MBNA it was completely separate.

    Close the account. It stops the risk of racking up more debt!
