Paypal and not for profit organisation

I am trying to set up a paypal account for online payments for a not for profit organisation with no success and wonder if anyone has solved my problem before?
I am setting up an online payments system for a club. The club is a private members club meaning it's owned and run by it's members as a not for profit organization but it's not a charity.
Paypal need me to select a business type when setting up the account so I selected - Not for profit. Big mistake as they now require the following:
1. Bank account details
2. Cancelled cheque or bank statement
3. Proof of tax exempt status
4. Organization and payment information
Item 1 is not a problem, Item 2 is a hassle but we could send them. Item 3 is relevant to US law but there is no such thing under UK law unless we were a charity and for Item 4 they don't specify what this would be.
I have tried contacting their customer services detailing my problem and they replied with instructions on how to change my password!
Anybody resolved this problem before?

https://www.paypal-business.co.uk/non-profits/ This is UK specific.
By the sounds of things you're not registered with the UK charities commision but may be worth actually contacting PayPal for details.Minds are like parachutes - they only function when open.
