I received a letter from them 2 weeks ago saying I had been shortlisted for a cash prize £10 to £20,000 all I had to do was reply and receive one of their no obligation books.
I received book today with letter saying I owe £24 for book its a big hardback. There is no return address and customer service no 0870 there is no answer, it looks like I have to pay for return postage and also ring a 0870 number for address to return book. Have I been conned

You are allowed to return anything you have bought from Readers didest within seven days of receipt. Try ringing them on (Freephone number) 0800 181151 or using this link to a customer contact formhttp://www.readersdigest.co.uk/contact-us-i-6.html
Lots and lots of people receive these mailings to try and win cash prizes, don't be tempted to buy anything if you don't really want it, use the No envelope if you want to just enter the draw, remember its just the same as any other prize draw, will cost you a stamp...BUT it will be a high entry comp...But hey someone HAS to win!...good Luck getting a refund0 -
oops sorry...hope this link works...but try freephone number anyway

I get approx 6 letters a month from Readers Digest telling me that "I have nearly won something"...............if only I would order books from them:eek:
Best place for these letters is the bin.
LinYou can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.0
