I have finally found the £2 savers!
Hello to all and I hope you don't mind my joining you here, but I've only recently started saving £2 coins after reading how well everyone was doing in their signatures. I do have a 'piggie' for spare change, but £2 coins don't fit through the slot, so this is a great idea, even if I am way behind the times :)

Addictive is an understatement but thanks for the warning. Just upped my 'pot' by £4 today and my face must have lit up when the post office handed me 2 x £2 coins in my change! :j

OH! I just noticed that the coins have different quotes stamped into their edges - that means I now need to find out what they all are and then collect one of each :T

  • I still haven't seen a £2 in ages, continuing to cheat by putting 2 x £1 into piggy... I think when it's fuller I will treat myself to a massage (80 minutes) in early Decemberbut as it's £80 I still have a long way to go...

I have been saving £2's since i first read this thread back in August. I actually opened my tin last night as I am going away for a long weekend and I was planning on using my £2's for some spending money.

I was pleasantly surprised to find £80 - not bad for 2 months savings.:j As soon as I am back on Monday I am going to get myself a new tin (I had one of those tins that you have to open with a tin opener) and start again. This time I am saving for some christmas presents.
