New Aim - to save £1k by 1st June 2008 - So far banked £654

I finally got one! It was in my change at Tesco and I got very excited! Now I'm up to £14 which is supposed to be my christmas fund and isn't going to buy very much at this rate!
But I'm not spending much at the moment, so I never get any change.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Can I join in? I have been saving 2 pound coins for the last few months and have used them to make some small overpayments of our mortgage. However I haven't kept a running total of how many coins I have saved so I am going to do this from now! I have been off work for a few weeks and find I didn't get many coins in the local shops. I'm starting with 8 pounds in my wee jam jar.
Oh and I have not yet tried to put anything in my signature, so here goes!!0 -

Did my shopping this morning, handed over my cash, lady apologised as she didn't have any £10 pound notes, so I got 6 £2 coins today. I'm glad I get paid weekly!What goes around - comes around
