It's really up to you. There is no expiry date, just save save save - and let us all know how your doing. Bank them when you feel you want to. Some people are saving for specific things like holidays. There are no rules to this except let us all know how many you get and put your total in your sig.

I use mine towards debt and pay them in to the bank when I have a reasonable amount (about £60) and then go on-line and pay off the same amount to a credit card. That way I can see it making a difference.

I've had quite a few recently and darling boyf collects them for me too. Mum asked me to get some for her from the vending machine at the Park n Ride (everyone uses £2 coins) but I had pre-paid tickets so swapped her some of mine I'd saved for a £10 note!

Three more at the weekend darling boyf has just informed me! :j

I've not spent any £2's since the start of the year. The £108 I have so far is every one that's came into my possession. Some of you on here have loads! I can't seem to get very much here.

I don't know what i'm saving for yet. I won't be squandering it. I feel quite protective towards my piggy full of £2's. I don't really want to part with them at all!

Oh, and everyone in my family gets an update of what my total is whenever I get another.

Dh thinks he's funny if he gives me one for the pig and says it's for services rendered!

i've had a few more recently but i'm not sure of my total, but i won't make the £1000 by 1st june!!!

I had saved £110 so far this year, but I just used it to pay some off my credit card.:T
